Gloria Teles Pushker

Mrs. Pushker is a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana.  A professional storyteller, author, and educator, she holds a master's degree in education from University of New Orleans. She has taught children's literature at Loyola University in New Orleans.

Her children's book series seeks to educate children on the Jewish faith. The stories focus on a character named Toby Belfer, a Jewish girl growing up in a small Louisiana town. 

Her storytelling programs have been popular in New Orleans schools since 1999. She has also presented stories in other states and the Cayman Islands.

Mrs. Pushker is available for school and library visits, as both an author and storyteller, in the New Orleans area.
